Peace Garden of the Nations

Tyrian sponsors the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation’s Peace Garden of the Nations. This little “pocket park” garden hosts the dedication ceremonies for new gardens because it contains the crypt where countries intermingled soil from their historic shrines symbolizes world peace and harmony. Inscribed on the monument are these words: “In America, peace, understanding, amity, and cooperation among peoples of all nations.”

The Peace Garden of the Nations has long been neglected and needs major renovations to the stonework and landscaping. Tyrian is developing plans to improve and maintain the garden in honor of Bertha Von Suttner, mother of the Nobel Peace Prize and all past, present and future Nobel Peace Prize winners. Due to the hard work and vision of Mr. James Funai, Plant Science and Landscape Technology Program, Cuyahoga Community College; and Eric Brubeck, of Brubeck Design Studio, Tyrian has amazing landscape design plans for the renovations of the garden. While James and Eric generously donated their time to this project, bringing their vision to life will take a lot of financial support.

The internationally known Artist, Don Drumm of Akron, Ohio, has designed a special garden stake sculpture in honor of the gardens to help raise money for garden renovations. Order your own today!
